The Texel Aviation and War Museum displays the history of aviation and events during the Second World War on and around the Wadden Island. Landing gear, propellers and engine parts are on display. The collection is divided into six sections: general aviation, the deportation of Texel residents to Assen, the Georgian uprising, De Vlijt airfield, the air war over Texel and De Mok naval air base.
