RAF Ingham was the home of No. 199 (RAF) and 300 and 305 (Polish) Bomber Squadrons who served with the RAF during the Second World War.

With the help of the community and countless volunteers, a globally unique heritage centre was created. It is dedicated to the memory and the celebration, through their own personal stories, of the remarkable lives and memories of the men and women of the Polish Air Force Bomber Squadrons. The centre tells the story of those who lived, worked, and flew alongside the RAF during the Second World War. Furthermore, the centre tells of the humanitarian ‘post war’ story, of their struggles to settle and integrate into a ‘post war’ Britain while retaining their customs, culture and Polish heritage.

The centre is also dedicated to the ground personnel and aircrews of No. 199 Squadron who were stationed at RAF Ingham.

There is a cafe and a shop on site.
